About Lindsay Ogden

Lindsay, a native Midlander, LOVES all things tea, especially the social aspect of tea parties. Her love of tea began when she attended her best friend’s birthday party at “The Tea Party” in 1997. It was her first experience with tea and deep in love she fell. Lindsay vividly remembers the dress up, the makeup, the pictures, and of course the tea- specifically the sugar cubes. After graduating college with a bachelors in Multidisciplinary Studies, Lindsay became a certified teacher (EC-6 Generalist) and taught 3rd grade math and science at Yarbrough Elementary. When her daughter was born in 2019, she stepped back from the classroom. Still, she missed children and started teaching students in China online. After the birth of her son in 2021, the program dissolved and Lindsay solely focused on her children. Not one to sit still, Lindsay and her husband Bryan decided she should start something new, enter: Tea at The Loft. Lindsay still holds a valid teaching certificate and substitute teaches as often as she can at her daughter's elementary. Surprisingly, she has recently round herself on the board of Fannin's PTA as the Treasurer. She has a strong love of children's literacy and is currently chair of The Junior League of Midland's Reading Olympics program at Th Boys and Girls Club Taylor Park. Through Tea at The Loft, Lindsay hopes children will create unforgettable memories.
